Ever since we accepted Christ at a young age, we both felt a sense that God wanted to use us for something bigger than ourselves. We believe that God has prepared us to serve Him uniquely in Italy through the experiences and training that He has allowed us to have.

Jonathan

1981-1994 -- attended Italian schools, with a specialization in linguistics.

1993 -- received a French horn diploma from the Conservatory of Perugia.

1994 -- attended an Italian Bible institute for a ten-week intensive course on the basics of Christian living. Here I also received my definitive call into ministry.

1998 -- graduated Magna cum Laude from Cornerstone University with B. Mus in music ministries.

2000 -- graduated from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary with a M.R.E. in Christian Education and recipient of the William Clarence Haas future ministry award.

2001 -- completed a one-year full time internship from the School of Church Ministries of Calvary Baptist Church with a particular focus on Outreach and Youth.

2001-2003 Short-term missionary in Perugia, Italy with Baptist Mid-Missions.

Responsibilities: Preaching, Teaching, Youth, Worship, Leadership Training/Discipleship, Outreach, Administration of Radio Luce, a Christian Radio Station.

2003-2006 -- Deputation/Pre-Field Ministry

2006-2007 -- Ministry in Italy!

Melodee

Attended Christian schools in Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania.

1997 -- graduated with high honors from the Christian School of York

2001 -- graduated Summa cum Laude from Cornerstone University with B. Mus in piano performance.

2001-2003 -- Involved in Youth Ministry at Open Bible Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Adjunct Music Faculty for Cornerstone University.

Involved in several missions trips to Perugia Italy, where she helped with worship and evangelism.

2002 -- Began Italian language Study at the Italian University for Foreigners of Perugia.

September 2006 -- Returned to the Italian University for Foreigners of Perugia!

August 2007 -- School of hard knocks: Had to leave for the United States because of Visa/Residence problems.

April 2008 -- God answered our prayers!! We head back to Italy.
